Life is a box of bamboos. That’s pretty much all Thomas thinks about every day. Preferring to spend most of his time alone, Thomas wanders the mountains in search of food. Since they do not hibernate, when winter comes, he will simply head lower down his mountain home to warmer temperatures where he continues to chomp away on bamboo!

Basile has lost many friends and family over the years due to climate change. The rising global temperatures means sea ice is melting earlier and forming later each year, leaving polar bears less time to hunt for food. This is good news for seals, their main source of food, but not so good for Basile and her friends.

All that eating means one thing, that he also produces a lot of waste, about 1 tonne of poop per week! Luckily, it keeps the soil fertile and disperses tree seeds.
